Starting with a Greater Motive
Eligma created a point-of-sale system in 2018 to enable retailers to receive payment in crypto. The aim was to create a genuine Bitcoin City within the confines of Slovenia’s largest shopping center. The company’s goal is to bring cryptocurrencies into the mainstream and make them part of daily life and commerce. To accomplish this, Eligma has created GoCrypto – an easy to use solution for merchants. GoCrypto’s home base is Slovenia, the company started to make its way throughout the country since its launch of Bitcoin City.
In March, Roljic, CEO of GoCrypto, has not only announced that GoCrypto captured 1,000 locations all over the world but the firm has been expanding internationally. He announced that GoCrypto has partnered with Xpay.com and 150 other locations in South America are strong. They even constructed a merchant dashboard which makes merchants a crypto exchange.
With the objective to make GoCrypto a global payment scheme that connects cryptocurrency owners, wallets, merchants, and cashier systems to enable crypto payments, the company’s point-of-sale solution is currently available in more than 1000 locations worldwide and 13 countries – 10 European countries and 3 in South America.
The Future is for Crypto
GoCrypto played a major role in turning Slovenia into the world leader in the number of physical locations that accept payments with cryptocurrencies. The partnership with Quidax will mark an important milestone for GoCrypto Payment Scheme and shows that cryptocurrencies are becoming a highly relevant method.
Buchi Okoro, Co-founder, and CEO at Quidax stated that the partnership with Gocrypto helped to answer a question which they got so many times and they are proud to be playing a role in answering that question. Roljic added that GoCrypto wants to expand all over the world and they envisioned a future where every merchant has the ability to become their own exchange by being able to sell digital currencies at the counter.
